Business is good for Nicolas Winding Refn the Director of Drive and The Pusher.
I just watched the Pusher and I would easily say it's as good as the film Drive, possibly even better just void of a big star like Ryan Gosling.
The pacing is great and the film takes you into the conflicts and problems both criminally and emotionally that occur in the life of a drug dealer.
With Adrian Grenier's film, How to Make Money Selling Drugs and the film The Pusher it's easy to see that the audience and studios from a business standpoint will continue to do films in this genre as long as the audience wants to buy the ticket. Business always comes back to this basic, fundamental creed, "sell what people want to buy."
