If actor Jeff Bridges is in a film it's almost certain to be entertaining. Alongside actors Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Bacon the film, R.I.P.D. is never slow or uninteresting.
Jeff Bridges draws on the character he played with Joel and Ethan Coen in the re-make of True Grit; he's a gritty old lawman that is now contracted to work for the Rest In Peace Department, or R.I.P.D for short.
You might recall another Coen Brothers gem that Jeff Bridges starred in titled The Big Lebowski with actor John Goodman. In simple terms Jeff Bridges isn't just a great actor, he's a great entertainer.
R.I.P.D. is now available to rent and is better than you might expect and even though it's rated PG 13 it's a lot of fun for the family.
