NBC has done everything right in promoting the London Olympics 2012 and hopefully they will see the fruit of their labor when the Olympics begin in London in just two weeks. The Ryan Lochte and Michael Phelps match up should be incredible TV and deliver record ratings for NBC.
The decision to cover the Olympic Trials for swimming and track and field were good ones. The audience, myself included, is now frothing at the mouth.
Sending Bob Costas and Rowdy Gaines to Omaha to cover swimming gave me the feeling that I get every four years where I cheer with unrivaled passion and anticipation for our country.
Now for once sit on your butt and watch TV as we kick ass in London. Go team USA!
