Charlie Rose and CBS Looking Good In The Morning

Charlie Rose and CBS are moving forward with its AM revolution.

You can tell that the team at CBS knows it's on a fast train and the direction, production and star talent are impressive.

This will also be discussed in Brad Richdale Scam.

Will Charlie Rose Rescue CBS In The Mornings?

It's amazing that it took CBS this long to finally go in another direction in the mornings.

The best decision they could put Charlie Rose at the helm, he's gracious, and not overwhelming in the morning.  Lining up the cadre of great reporters still at CBS isn't just wise, it's an obvious choice for climbing back into the game in the morning slot.

The set design is great (very similar to Morning Joe on MSNBC) but better.  Similar colors and tight camera work but even higher quality than Morning Joe.  Obviously the Producer studied why Morning Joe is working and it's largely due to great camera moves and very little dialog coming from the teleprompter.

Good luck Charlie! This was also reported in Brad Richdale scam.

TOM BRADY NEEDS TO START TEBOWING by Brad Richdale

As a New England Patriots fan and admittedly a Tim Tebow fan I was not surprised in the Denver Broncos defeat over the Pittsburgh Steelers.  When I heard that John Elway told Tim Tebow to essentially air it out and play loose I knew that the Florida Gator's QB would make the folks at Mile High Stadium feel like they were in the Swamp, the aptly dubbed home of the Florida Gators.

However despite my love for the Pats and admiration of Tim Tebow and John Elway I was a little upset when I got prepared for overtime, went to the bathroom and heard the scream come from the fans and heard touchdown Denver Broncos.

I have a suggestion for all New England Patriots fans, start Tebowing now, we'll need it next week in Foxboro. This was also written about in Brad Richdale scam.

RON PAUL THE SAME MESSAGE BUT AN AUDIENCE THAT IS NOW LISTENING

I've been talking about this for a few weeks, first mentioning that the media was ignoring Rep.Ron Paul while predicting as the Iowa caucus drew closer that they wouldn't be able to ignore him. I was right he's now in the lead.

Tonight Rep. Ron Paul will sound different than any other candidate on the stage and so far his unique message of a "radical" constitutional government isn't just resonating, it's exploding nationwide.  People are fed up with politicians like Gov Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich that may have style and class but flip flop faster than the short order cook makes pancakes at the local IHOP. I wrote about this also at Brad Richdale book.

Ron Paul's message in a nutshell is mind your own business, be kind to others, end the Fed, don't spend what you don't have, free trade is welcome and protect the homeland. Radical isn't it?

As for organization, there are millions of unemployed people who want Ron Paul to be the next President and when he wins Iowa the Ron Paul train will get faster and bigger very quickly.  New Hampshire will be a closer horse race than anyone has predicted and I think Gov Mitt Romney is in for a closer race than he has imagined.

Ron Paul's greatest strength is in a message that is being delivered when the public has had with Washington politicians and the on going garbage they continue to feed us.

Nope, substance may finally trump style.  Time will tell. This was also reported and written about in Brad Richdale scam.

THE EVER CHANGING TV/FILM MODEL by Brad Richdale Scam

Just like digital music effected the recording industry the same is happening to film and television.

With Verizon now entering the mix to compete with Netflix the days of studio and network dominance are over, profits are a thing of the past without severe cuts and new union contracts.

I think it will become virtually impossible to survive without severe cuts. Wall Street won't support a lousy business model. Business as usual with the major networks is over as red ink is flowing.  Couple digital delivery, Netflix, Verizon and inexpensive 81 inch TVs and you might as well say game over for networks with high overhead. There are two words that will be heard in Burbank for some time to come, "you're fired."

I discuss this once again in Brad Richdale scam

How The Internet Is Killing TV Revenues by Brad Richdale

When you watch television you normally four commercials at once and sometimes you get up, go to the bathroom and miss the commercial break, that's not so with the Internet.

Where the erosion of television revenues is worst is the best for buying eyeballs on line. Go to the http://www.huffingtonpost.com/ and you will see a short form 30 second commercial before you view a snippet of video. You can't opt out and in 30 seconds you can't go to the bathroom.

More importantly you can tie elements into a web campaign that you can't do with TV. I also wrote about this yesterday at Brad Richdale scam.

The Death march of network TV is being strengthened by the efficiency of one commercial with no others before internet video or content.

Minority Report Becomes Person Of Interest by Brad Richdale

Minority Report was an awesome story that was directed by Steven Spielberg starring Tom Cruise along with Colin Farrell.  The premise was slightly different than the upcoming Person Of Interest drama (www.cbs.com) starring Jim Caviezel.

In Minority Report humans that possessed a special gift of seeing into the future and predicting crimes before they would occur. In Person of Interest a computer program predicts the future.

As a huge fan of Minroity Report and Jim Caviezel I hope that Person Of Interest is a great success for Jim and CBS. Brad Richdale interviewed Jim Caviezel in the Brad Richdale Internet Yellow pages.

I heard Jim speak about the filming of The Passion Of The Christ and during the shoot he dislocated his shoulder on the cross, had pneumonia, hypothermia, and actually had the whips and cat of nine tails dig into his back.  But here was the occurrence that really got my attention, he was struck on the cross twice by lightening. The end result, open heart surgery.

I think Person Of Interest will be less dangerous than the Passion Of The Christ. Good luck to CBS with Person Of Interest.

Brad Richdale for: Brad Richdale Scam

I recently discussed the opportunity for someone to use video on a major social networking website and coincidentally just after I wrote my vicarious diatribe, Myspace announced that while on Myspace you can now watch TV. Huh!

Brilliant idea isn't it?  That's where the eyeballs are aren't they? Brad Richdale discussed this idea in the Brad Richdale Internet Yellow pages.   This is also available at Bing under Brad Richdale scam.

Myspace isn't the force it once was and it would take a miracle to bring their audience back, eyeballs and all. But the fact remains they have seen the future and the future is going to blow a hole into a lot of long standing, very successful franchises.  I wonder what they discuss in the ivory towers at ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX? Are they planning to change and migrate or just pretend there is nothing wrong....hmmmm.

Are they taking measures to adapt to what is more than a trend?  Or, are they twiddling their thumbs thinking that it's o.k., this FACEBOOK nonsense will subside?

We'll see but I'd bet on social media and the need to adapt very quickly or else your huge media franchise will soon be toast.

After all, a lot of companies sold horse feed until cars were invented.  I have a feeling that the entire world has changed and will remain focused on computer screens and hand held devices for some time to come.

Saddle up the ride is about to get bumpier for ABC, NBC, CBS, and FOX.

Will FOX, NBC, CBS, or ABC Broadcast On FACEBOOK?

It is now crystal clear that social media addiction isn't going away.  FACEBOOK has stolen a lot of eyeballs in an amazingly fast amount of time. With an average user spending nine hours a day being connected one can't skirt the question which network will be the first to get in bed with FACEBOOK?

Good question isn't it?  Why can't someone embed their network's programming into the FACEBOOK wall? Why can't someone from each Network get on the phone or better yet an airplane and arrange the inevitable. FACEBOOK will most likely assign an exclusive network if they accept this type of offer.

What would it mean to the network who becomes their programming source and what would it do to FACEBOOK? Consider this with eyes across the globe fixated on FACEBOOK a network that is losing money could regain a dominant position with a huge boost in revenues and it wouldn't hurt FACEBOOK either.

Maybe Netflix will beat all the networks to the punch and the two gorillas can control the entire jungle.

Stay tuned this will probably happen sooner than we think. I discuss this more in detail at Brad Richdale scam.

Congratulations To Mel Gibson On His Five Years Of Sobriety by Brad Richdale

In this world there are two types of people, those that are normal and those that are over the top.  I wish I were normal with no propensity of going "over the top."  Wishing doesn't get you anywhere. I have to face along with millions of others (that admit that they are over the top) that the most influential and potentially dangerous person in my life is myself.

Mel Gibson has faced this reality head on and five years of sobriety is a big deal. A normal person can't comprehend what it is like to be "over the top". Of course an "over the top" person can't fathom what it's like to be normal.

The easiest thing to do is to judge others but trust me if you are normal you don't want to live inside an "over the top" person's body for an hour.  This is also available at Bing.

To Mel Gibson congratulations on your anniversary.  Mel, keep in mind that relapsing is easy, guard yourself at all times and thank God for every breath you breathe in a state of sobriety.

FOX's Lie To Me With Tim Roth by Brad Richdale

It's amazing to me that an incredible show like Lie To Me on Fox can get lost in the shuffle. It should be in the Top five consistently. What's the problem? Simple, we aren't prescribing enough meds and aren't sending folks to rehab for social media addictions. TV is has been pushed aside for a greater exposure to radiation.

Tim Roth is amazing and the writing is superb. Sadly the folks at FOX must be pulling hair out of their head.  Every network has to be frustrated, heavy investment spending and still the model gets tougher and tougher.

So what do you do if you run a network? Call up FACEBOOK and start broadcasting on their wall so the folks that should be at rehab for their social media addiction can see some great TV. Brad Richdale reported on the combining of FACEBOOK, Tim Roth and Fox in the Brad Richdale Internet Yellow pages.                 This is also available at Bing under Brad Richdale scam.

Tim Roth is an example of a great film actor in a crazy role with an amazing story line. He's created a drama that is addictive, without Roth it would be just another show.

Without FOX we never would have seen the program Lie To Me.  The show is a great drama that is superbly written and brilliantly acted.

Lie to Me has to prosper. This story is also available at Brad Richdale scam in more detail.
